Twenty world-class artists have turned two thousand tonnes of sand into an exhibition of musically themed sculptures.
Visitors also have the chance to get involved. Sand sculpture workshops, live demonstrations, unique photo opportunities, a sand pit, café, live music and much more is on offer to all.
The festival is family friendly and promises to entertain all ages and backgrounds.

Come and view the ceramic collections of Brighton-based artist Alice Walton at two of the many Artist Open Houses within the May festival. She makes a range of decorative wall pieces, wearable jewellery and functional ceramics.

An average of two children in every classroom are affected by asthma. A child’s genetics can decide how effective their medicine is and the search is on for the right matches. This art/science exhibition by BSMS students and artists explores personalised medicine, genetics, asthma, and child heath; investigating new research that demonstrates how genetics impacts the effectiveness of medicine.

Black dots on a page: a type of dialect and his
whole persona transforms them.

A creative investigation of the contemporary situation inside/outside of occupied Tibet : art, music, films, talks, and poetry by Tibetans in exile.
